Hi Picnic People! Grand that you were able to visit and we both certainly enjoyed the more than  delightful time. Thank you for the Chase and all the picnic fixings, as well as the lovely gifts. I gather you had quite a drive back to Vancouver but pleased you made it without mishap, given deluge! Am hoping to make a start on organizing the garage today, in between sets of my exercises.

Tomorrow morning, at 8:00 am, Chloë and I will participate in Lady Dar's Grandmothers for Africa "Stride to Turn the Tide, a national walk that supports the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation." [The pulled muscle in Her Imperiousness' left leg is still quite sore and she feels the distance would be too much for it.] Walk starts at Skaha Lake and goes to Lakeshore Avenue, along Okanagan Lake, so we'll wander the Farmers' Market once we've completed the charity walk.

Must away as I'm ready for my yogurt and fabulous dehydrated fruit. Fondestos from Lady Dar, out watering the front garden. Rain forecast for later this afternoon so am hoping our water barrels will fill up! Trust Colin's painful, painful injection has helped. Hi again, Sarge! Trust you'll be at same tasting. No, we have no plans for Spirit Ridge in early July. Lady Dar's birthday is on July 19th, same day as Poplar Grove's Wine Club Appreciation Bash. I have been instructed that this does not mean that I don't have to take her out for dinner so I am "forced" to make a reservation at Front Street Brasserie for evening before! The Sisterhood!
