Culture is the widening of the mind and of the spirit. It is never a narrowing of the mind or a restriction of the human spirit or the country's spirit. -Jawaharlal Nehru, freedom fighter and the first Prime Minister of India (14 Nov 1889-1964)
Here is a local Berkeley turkey in our backyard to accompany the grace. Turkey LOVES our bird seed.... |
Hello Whirlygig and Calamity! Trust all goes well, especially since no word for aeons! Thought I'd send along a missive having bumped into two of your relatives, Whigmaleerie and Whigmaleery, twins, at the local liquor store. They were slumped outside, trying to cadge enough change for some porch cleaner. Reminded me of the good old days at your place, crawling up the stairs to play bridge! After I took a twenty out of their cup I picked up a bottle of Longbranch, Matthew McConaughey's venture into Bourbon, well as some anaemic malt, Wolfburn Morven, 46%! For my part, still cycling. Come and visit and we can have numerous cycling outings or have you forgotten how to ride! Fondestos from Lady Dar, to you, Sling-Shot Kid and Giorgio. Stay well. Cheers, Patrizzio!
