When people are fanatically dedicated to political or religious faiths
or any other kind of dogmas or goals, it's always because these dogmas
or goals are in doubt. -Robert M. Pirsig, author and philosopher (6 Sep

Hello California, et al! Trust everyone is well. Do hope your
Milestone Year, (25th Winery and 40th Vineyard), Anniversaries went
exceedingly well, Famiglia Coffaro. We were in the throes of helping
Chloë pack for her move, at the end of August, as well as readying
ourselves for the trip we are currently on with Flamin' and Sarge.
Thought I'd send along this album to give you some sense of our trip so far. We found Budapest to be a wonderful city, even if we barely scratched its surface. Found both the Austrian wines we enjoyed in Vienna, and the Hungarian wines we tasted last night, to be most quaffable, elegant and exciting. In fact, as I scribe I'm sipping on a very, very pleasnt 2018 Juhász Sauvignon Blanc, 12%, for $3.08 CDN! [Purchased when Flamin' and Lady Dar went out to spend last of our Hungarian money before we left to drive to Slovenia, while Sarge and I loaded the car.]

No
trouble at all finding our way out of Budapest but we ran into an
expensive problem when we crossed into Slovenia. Caught in a random road
check and fined €150 for not having a toll sticker which we didn't know
we required! Our fault for not checking, beforehand, as sticker was
only €15 and we would certainly have paid for it. Anyway, fine could
have been double but officer took pity on us so we were grateful for
that.
Will
explore the old part of Ljubljana tomorrow as we didn't move into our
comfortable apartment until 5:00 pm and once we'd muled all our baggage
to the third floor, [no elevator!], we settled down to dinner, [roast
chicken and salad], with plenty of hootch. Also have to figure out some
of our coming itinerary in Croatia. Planning is in session, in living
room, as I write in kitchen! I just go along with decisions and complain
later: "I told you so!" That
being said, must away as the others are shouting at me to come and
offer my opinion on tomorrow's itinerary. Fondestos from Lady Dar,
Flamin' and Sarge to one and all. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Tummler, thanks for including us on your travel update. We called you laster week to check in and to promote the Budino Brothers new offering: PC Reserve - and left a voice message. We did not get a response and now know why. Be well and safe travels. Fond regards to all, G&J y Morita Hi Salish Sea People!
Trust everyone is well. Thanks for
calling. Didn't Duke answer? Glad you enjoyed last installment so
thought I'd send along this album to give you more of our trip so far. Cheers, Tummler/Patrizzio/Il Conduttore!
