Are you reasonably happy with the results?  I personally cannot understand why everyone doesn't vote NDP.  I see that Richard won, by the skin of his teeth however.  Pity those Green folks don't settle upon a good viable candidate from a larger party. What's with those milktoasty Liberals? Afraid of a little eco-socialism?  Well, better them governing than the wanna-be Trumpists.

Unless it's a major major major major expense, why don't you have the wine shipped.  We find it hard enough just standing in place much less driving up to northern Sonoma. I could see if Janferie is planning to drive south in the next month and could stop by, but I don't even know if she's up there (I believe she is) or in Ontario.  But shipping is fine, we'll pile the box(es) into Boris and Natasha's quarters and they can stand guard.

We're off to the vet in a bit, Yoko's cat for whom we are tending whilst she is in Japan has had a wee bit of blood in her pee.  Bought a bottle of Barbancourt Rum this morning so I can drink along with the characters in the Edwige Danticat stories I'm currently reading. Maddening when they knock off a bottle and not a drop for me. Cactus However hard I tried, I could not quite eliminate my sense of hope. Lu Xun, Nostalgia, 1913

Lovely.....thank you Patrick. We spent Thanksgiving in Calgary with kids and grand kids for a great weekend. I trust your family had a great Thanksgiving as well.....we all have lots to be thankful for! When will you be back out hiking with us? We sometimes do 2 hours or so of shorter hikes apart from the bigger and longer hikes.....let me know if you are interested in that option sometime. Cheers.....Kilian Hi St Kilian! Pleased you enjoyed the card and that you spent a wonderful weekend in Calgary. For our part, we were back on Thanksgiving Saturday so had a lovely dinner with Chloë on Sunday.

Thank you for the generous invitation to join you on some of the shorter hikes. I would certainly appreciate doing so, to work me back into hiking form! I would have done so yesterday but unfortunately, for me, Soupateria all morning and massage therapy, for my shoulder, at 9:30 am on Thursday. Same goes for next week as we are off to Vancouver on Sunday, returning on Thursday. Anyway, look forward to seeing you, one way or another, at some point in the not too, too distant future. Stay well. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hello Halloween High Scorers! Lady Dar and I will be in Vancouver for first part of next week, returning on Thursday. This being the case am wondering if anyone would like to play Trick or Treat bridge that evening. We'd host again. Let me know what you think and we'll plan accordingly. Bridge prizes will be whatever candies are not taken by goblins and ghosts! Cheers, Patrizzio! I should pass thanks as I have about 100 hooligans that come to my door Carol Count me in! But no prizes for me as I am still recovering from vacation food. Susan Hi Patrick. I will be back and would like to play. Dianne

Hi Chooch! I received a message from you but it didn't indicate if you would be playing a week Thursday, on Halloween. Let me know when you have a minute or tell me tomorrow evening. Thanks and Cheers, Patrizzio! Are we playing this evening?? Hi again, Chooch! Yes, we are on. See you anytime after 6:30 pm. Cheers, Patrizzio! Hi Chooch! Oops I have to go to wacky Wednesday hockey tonight. I really screwed up. I got people coming for dinner and then the hockey game . Please forgive me. Carol You are forgiven! Cheers, Patrizzio!
