Friday night at the hospital

Just booking my flight to go back to Manitoba to stay with mom. Barb will likely not work this summer so she can stay in the city with the kids and help Ryan. George will go back and forth. I will go for 3 weeks and help mom with garden and continuing downsizing the cottage. Cleaning out closets etc. At Spirit Ridge this weekend we celebrated Michele's birthday yesterday. Will go home tomorrow as I have lots to do in my house to get ready to leave again. Love you all, Talk soon Corinne/Mom/Nana

Up at 6:30 am after a fabulous, fabulous evening with Jaroslav Milback, owner/winemaker of/at a local winery. Katarina and The Sunshine Goils enjoyed his wonderful wines as well. Must away as I need to pack my computer and rest of belongings. Sun is shining so we hope our coming 62 km ride will be a dry one, unlike yesterday, when parts were very, very miserable. Wonderful countryside but hard to appreciate it fully when rain was quite heavy for about half of the outing.

Total of 71+ km as I didn't turn on my odometre until roughly 2 km after we left the hotel! Wonderful night in town as it was Museum Night and there was a terrific show at the castle. Back home to drink one of the delish bottles of Sauvignon Blanc I bought last night from Jaroslav.

Enjoying the book, however will not be able to come on the 31st as I did not realize that our journey to Tofino was going to take 2 days. This must be the third book club I am missing, so sad. So far one in Sept looks promising. Senka
