Patrick James Dunn On the other hand, head East and you'll come upon another corner of Paradise! Flamin'/Sarge, with their friends Natalia and Jonathon, freeloading last night. They left this morning as malt cabinet was empty!
After a wonderful breakfast of fried potatoes, crisp bacon, toast and and omelette,The Lower Mainland Freeloaders packed up their car and hit the road to do a bit of wine tasting in The Naramata, before heading to Osoyoos where they would spend the rest of the weekend. Lady Dar and I busied ourselves with changing bed linen and doing laundry, in preparation for the arrival of Kathleen and Stefano,a t 1:00 pm on the Greyhound.

Hello to Our Favourite Naramatian Hosteliers! Thank you both for such a wonderful, wonderful evening of delicious, delicious food, fine, fine drink and more than heated political discussion! As well, the birthday cake, for Lady Dar, was more than thoughtful, not to mention how divine a dessert it was!
Looking forward to continuing the revelry tomorrow evening, at Upper Bench, when we six will meet again. Until then, I trust your golf goes well, [Jugos Dom Pedro is playing in the Penticton Open, soon to qualify for the PGA Tour!], BBQ King and that Lynne has a chance to rest after orchestrating such a marvellous dinner. Thanks again. Fondestos from the Gang of Three, now abed! Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Inn at The Naramata! Potatoe salad made with spuds from Jugos' garden and raspberries are from their own canes! Hi Corinne & Pat: Hal Whyte made this comment on our planned Friday lunch: With regards to Naramata, having had lunch at both Hillside and Vanilla Pod this week, we recommend Vanilla Pod. More diversity on Menu. Lake Breeze is good, but doesn't take reservations and with larger group would need to be there by 12 noon at latest. Also if weather not that great VP has large inside area. I will make reservation for VP when numbers are known. With this advice, we'll go with VP at Poplar Grove. Let me know sooner rather than later if you want to be included in the reservation. Hal suggested including Lynn & Peter and I told him we would probably be having dinner with them.
Also, are you up for dinner on the Sunday at Miradora - probably 6:30 - our treat? Cheers....Paul See you at one. Corinne Hi Paul, Patrick and I will pass on lunch and would be happy to join you at Miradora on Sunday. We are seeing Peter and Lynne tonight will invite them for dinner on Friday the 11 at 6pm? Cheers Corinne Understood. Let me know if Lynn and Peter can't make it for dinner at your place on the Friday. Cheers....Paul Hi Paul, Lynne and Peter are on for dinner on the Friday, Corinne Great - it will be good to see them. See you soon....Paul
LOL Now I understand Wayne talking about your fantasy travel journal with things that never happened Grandma Clara did not take Mom and I out for our 70th and 50th birthdays...I took them all out to sushi for Mom's 70th
...you may have heard a plan like that but it was not accurate as to what eventually happened on Sunday. There was a misunderstanding about the days even though I had emailed to invite Mom and Grandma for Sunday sushi and they accepted. Saturday I arrived back with Winston after driving 5 hours in traffic to be met by very grumpy hungover relatives who were mad at me for somehow making then forget our Sunday plan and thinking they were going to lunch then and I had been late.
It was in that moment I reminded myself to book a vacation in Bali next year...love you but Friday night at the wedding was, as per usual, a bit over the top for the two of you dear parents. Kisses from Tinsel Town Ayn
