Hi Mouse Busters! Thought you might
enjoy reading about Painted Rock, one of our local wineries and where
Lady Dar will perform her second wedding, this coming Saturday. This
weekend, again on Saturday, she conducted her first ceremony, in
Cawston, about 40 minutes south of us, in the beautiful Similkameen Valley.
Busy week ahead with two-tables of bridge/pot-luck here tomorrow evening and then our Book Club meeting/pot-luck dinner on Friday evening. We are reading Katherena Vermette's The Break. Just finished Camilla Lackberg's The Stonecutter. Probably won't be able to ride today as Lady Dar is viciously cracking the cat 'o nine-tails chore whip across my already burdened back! Pam Hi Naramata Goil! Sorry that you will miss both gatherings! My only suggestion is that you ask your Calgarians to move here so that they can join bridge and book club! Then no cheap, recurring excuses for not being able to attend! On another matter, friend of mine, from Vancouver, is up in Ososyoos with his MG club and will be at the Penticton Wine Country & Visitor Centre, probably about 9.45 -10am, on Wednesday. Should be quite spectacle with 23 vintage MG's! If you can't make it you might see the "convoy" on Naramata Road as Andrew mentioned group will visit some wineries along The Bench afterwards.
