Last Load Before the Truck-Bed Blues: Wednesday, September 27th!

One definition of success might be: refining our appetites, while deepening our hunger. -Yahia Lababidi, aphorist (b. 25 Sep 1973)

Up at 7:23 am but had decided I'd not go to the gym as I wanted to be at Chloë's much earlier than yesterday to start muling tubs down to the building lobby in order to complete loading Ragin's truck as quickly as possible. We had a long day ahead after this was completed as not only did we have a five or six hour drive back to Penticton but then would have to start unloading the trailer once at Burns Street in order to return it before 10:00 am on Thursday.

Hi Champagne Charlie and O Susannah! I apologize for not sending along these snaps sooner but must admit it has been very, very busy with Chloë's move. All went extremely well so very pleased about that of course. Chloë is even starting to come to terms with living back with her demanding parents!

Needless to say, wanted to thank you and Marnie for such a terrific gathering to celebrate your birthday, Charles, and Marnie's/Chad's engagement. Hip Hip Hooray! Furthermore, it was a delight to meet so many of your wonderful friends. As mentioned, on our brief visit on Tuesday, we will be back in Vancouver for the VWF, October 17th-22nd, so plan to see you over the course of our stay there. Until then, take care of each other. Love and Cheers, Lady Dar and Patrizzio!
Pics: First installment! Hi again, Champagne! Here is next set of snapolas! Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Last two, back at Burns Street with Ragin' and Chloë and Craig, husband of Olga Polga, in my hiking group. Craig is just learning to play. Where is Champagne when you really need him!

Hi Patrice, I just had a chance to catch up on emails and see you are very much in a whirlwind of activity!. Once again so sorry about your friend slipping away and my deepest condolences on having to deal with this along with all the other moving stuff etc.. I am happy you added the grinder to your tool portfolio although a bit concerned I don't see a guard on it. Having said that the first thing we usually do is throw the things in the scrap bin or keep them somewhere around but not used just in case we get a visit from work safe which requires them. They definitely limit the amount of spaces you can get into but also provide protection should a disc shatter. While this rarely occurs when it does can be devastating so all I can advise is never look directly in line with the plane of the disc or as I put it " look down the barrel" so if anything were to happen it would go somewhere other than your face or body. Give my love to the family and we'll talk soon. Cheers, Al examples..
