Kindness is loving people more than they deserve. -Joseph Joubert, moralist
and essayist (1754-1824)
Headed out to the gym at FCCC just before 8:00 am to use the Elliptizer and had not a bad workout, burning 870 calorifics over an hour. Didn't really push myself as I knew I would have more than my work cut out for me later in the morning as we were heading over to the Chloë's place to start decanting the Loft! Arrived around 10:00 am after we collected Stefano who had very kindly offered his services to help with the packing. Spent most of the morning repacking books and dishes that Chloë had had to put in large boxes in order to free the shelves hat she sold.
Once this was done we continued to pack and label a myriad of larger boxes and plastic tubs until we had made a very large dent in what needed to be wrapped and sealed away. By 3:00 pm we had made such good progress Stefano decided he'd head off. Thanking him we said goodbye and continued to beaver away, taking the legs of the large dining room table and then wrapping all the pieces in plastic cling-wrap to further protect the surfaces. Also moved down what we could from upstairs to ready things for the loading of the U-Haul trailer which would take place on the morrow.
Hi Polly and Mick! Just a quick note to thank you both for the lovely evening of bridge and dinner! I apologize for not sending along these snaps sooner but must admit it has been very, very busy with Chloë's move. As I think I mentioned, we will be back in Vancouver for the VWF, October 17th-22nd, so perhaps we will have an opportunity to see you over the course of our stay there. Until then, take care of each other. Fondestos from Lady Dar. Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Elite bridge!
