The bicycle is the most civilized conveyance known to man. Other forms
of transport grow daily more nightmarish. Only the bicycle remains pure
in heart. -Iris Murdoch, writer (15 Jul 1919-1999)
Up at 6:30 am to steal into kitchen to zap myself a mug of java!
Sorry we missed the drama of Patrick having to be escorted home from Berlin. Pneumonia is no fun - I know from experience. Trust all is well now as your presence at the Folk Fest seems to indicate. Not sure when I'll make it on site today. Probably stage 2 most of the day. Archie Roach at stage 2 will be a must at 4:20. Text me and perhaps we can arrange a meet at the beer tent. It will be good to see you both. Paul PS - Joan is having knee problems and I'm not sure if she will make it today. Sounds good what time at beer tent?
Hi All. It's best known by Kath that crowds stress me. More pompously I suffer mild agoraphobia, mixed with a taste for misanthropy in crowds. I left this evening because I let my stress rise to where I behave irrationally, like just pissing off. I don't mean harm or sorrow, or to make anyone else feel bad. Especially, please no-one feel bad for me. I get the hell over it. I was actually having a good time (as the depressive said to the clown)! Have a good night. See you all tomorrow. Love. S
