Hard Nose the Hope Princeton Blues: Thursday, May 11th!

Up at just before 6:00 am, not needing either my alarm or the sleepy felines to wake me!

Hi Dame Judith! Just arrived and unloaded so a quick note to see if you were able to find your way in and are now managing with your charges, Etta and Duke! Will probably give you a shout before we head out to dinner, shortly. Give us a call or send along a message, anytime, if you have any questions about where things are, etc.., how to deal with difficult felines and more. Hope list was of some help. Thanks again. Fondestos from Lady Dar, already pounding wine downstairs with friends and former neighbours, Flamin' and Sarge! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Everything is OK. The cats were out all day but came in together a few minutes ago and are now thoroughly enjoying their supper. Sir Kevin joined me for dinner tonight and he has just gone home. I plan on reading. The pumpkin, just mix the dry foot in it? Have a wonderful time and don't worry about anything. I will guard your holding with my life. Judi

Dearest Dame Judith! So pleased to learn that Sir Kevin visited and was fed and watered before being sent on his merry way! Glad the felines seem to be presenting no problems thus far! With respect to the pumpkin, just put a dollop on top of the crunchies and don't worry about mixing it in. We have discovered that they like it better that way. As far as the salmon skinis concerned, please put a pinchful on top, again, probably of an evening, every other day. It is very rich and they don't need it every day.

We enjoyed a lovely, lovely evening, in Kits, with close friends so nothing to complain about. Busy next few days. Rained all the way from Kaleden, heavily before Keremeos and then on through Manning Park, continuing into Vancouver, although it dried up nicely once we were in the city proper.  Did you experience thunderstorms? Poor Kelowna, if forecast was correct! Happy reading!

We know you are the perfect cat/house sitter so we have forgotten all about the Burns Street holding and its feline inhabitants! Fondestos from Lady Dar, asleep, already, with her open book upon her bosom! Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: This morning before we left! "Please Don't Go!" After dinner this evening!

Hi Patrick: Thanks for this message and for letting me know about Dusty.  I will send Corinne a card.  A sad time for her, although there must be comfort in knowing that he had a long, full life.   I remember seeing Dusty relatively recently at a Christmas party -- it must have been your last Christmas at the Island Inn.  And of course, I have a Christmas hedgehog painting as my very own memento.

I hope that the stressful time ahead over the next couple of weeks goes well for you both.  Yes, I am around this and next weekend and hope to see you, even if only-ever-so-briefly.  If not, the Fluid Alu Trainer has been around for awhile and can wait a bit longer. Janet

Hi Former Fluid Alu Trainer Owner! Thank you for your kind words and condolences. Much appreciated. Enjoyed our visit, brief though it had to be. Thanks again for bike trainer. Can hardly wait to set it up! Will be in touch again, once back, and we can try to hammer out a date for your visit. Cheers, Patrizzio! Limoncello Night!

Who would of thought retirement to be so busy! Hope to see you when retuning from Vernon visit this summer ( mid August(ish) ✌Lynette Hi Lynette! Will be in touch, once back from Winnipeg, and we can work out details of a date for your visit. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Alastair Bird Chloe, we wish we could be there. Your grandfather was such a great guy. He reminded me very much of Dave, Kirsten's grandfather, who passed away many years ago. Please, of course, pass on my most sincere condolences to all your family, but especially to the incomperable Rosie the Riveter. Give her a squeeze from all of us. Take care.
Chloe Alexis Dunn Thank you Alastair, he really was so great, he loved when mom and dad had people over for dinner or bridge, he loved to chat and visit and laugh and drink Chardonnay. I will most definitely give my Grandma a squeeze from you all and thank you for sharing your thoughts I knew he was so wonderful but it's so nice to hear others thought the same.
