Hi all, This Thursday, the Old farts will tackle Green Mountain, led by Pete Parchomchuk. You will: -meet at 0800 at Home Hardware north parking lot in Penticton (0740 at IGA parking lot in Summerland) -carpool and drive to the cattleguard at about km 10 on the Apex Road. -from there, scale the lofty heights of Green Mountain. This should be a somewhat tamer hike that the last couple. -find a place for debriefing and refreshment after. Are you interested? If so, let Pete know, at

This next bit is important information for the future. Beginning on Thursday, August 15th,
we will have a new meeting place in Penticton. Home Hardware parking
lot will no
longer be available to us. So, we will meet in Penticton at the
parking lot for employees at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre. It is the
large, sparsely-used lot at the corner of Atkinson Street and Warren
Avenue (just to the north of Cherry Lane). Please remember……do not use it until August 15th. If you do, you will find it quite lonely!!!!! Enjoy your hike up Green Mountain. I hope to see you in a couple of weeks. Cheers, Jim
