Jan's Walking Tour, the Castle Tower and the Egon Schiele Blues: Tuesday, September 24th!

Men are often capable of greater things than they perform. They are sent into the world with bills of credit and seldom draw to their full extent. -Horace Walpole, novelist and essayist (24 Sep 1717-1797)

Sound sleep until just after 7:00 am as it is so wonderfully quiet and peaceful here, unlike the street in Prague where we stayed across from the nightclub, closing at 4:00 am! Just the odd cricket calling not noisy drunks! Did a couple of sets of my shouldares and then had a jolt of Instanto while I answered some messages. Quick shower and then we left for the Main Square as we were joining a walking tour at 10:30 am. Had downloaded our tickets to Salzburg onto a memory stick and very helpful young woman at Info Centre printed it out for me. By the time that was done the tour was just about to start. Jan, [Honza ], was our guide and it was an almost perfect number of people: five Australians, [two couples from near the Blue Mountains and a lad from Melbourne]; young man from Fresno; a couple from Brazil, a lady from Amsterdam, [Lady Dar has already exchanged email addresses with Marianna!], and ourselves.

50/50 volunteers and Greetings from Český Krumlov!Hi Carole! Trust you are well. Will be here, in the Czech Republic, for next few days and then on to Salzburg. I could do October 25th and 26th as we'll be back in Penticton by then. Hello to Hazel. Cheers, Patrizzio! Thanks Patrick …. this technology is wonderful isn't it. Hope you are having a wonderful time. I have put you down for the 26th, 25th is taken. See you when you return. Be safe. Carole

Hope all is going well on your trip. Things are OK at Burns Bistro Cats are great though this morning Duke was hopping on one leg. I will keep an eye on him. I did receive a dead pigeon gift on the back carpet. Yuk! Take care, cold and rainy here Judi Thanks for the update! Duke got into a fight last year and had a puncture wound on his leg that was infected. See if he will let you touch his leg.
We took him to the SPCA clinic on Main where he is a patient. They gave him a shot of antibiotics and gave us some liquid pain medicine which he liked very much. Hopefully this isn’t the case but he does like to fight and of course he is smaller than most of the other cats around. Thanks for the pictures. Etta seems her usual calm self. She probably left you the gift. If you need to take Duke to vet I can transfer you some money. Hugs Corinne
Chloe came up last night and we had a good look at his paw/leg.  I kept the cats in all night so he wasn't hopping around. Will make decision today re vet once I see how he is doing. Judi

Fall is here and it’s Sample Sale time for Bugatti, Leo Chevalier, S. Cohen, Sotta Sopra, Garcia, Viyella and more. If you are interested , please call me to set up an appointment. Norm
Hi Stormin'! Trust all goes well with you both. When I received your notice of the Sample Sale I thought I'd let you know that I'm travelling with a number of the Viyella shirts I got from you, quite a while ago now. We had a wonderful time in Croatia and the snaps were taken on the wall surrounding Dubrovnik. Fondest from Lady Dar to you and Janet Stay well. Cheers, Patrizzio!
