Greetings..... Annamaria....Hello Patrick, When do you and yor friens, comes to Bern???? Gretings Annamria Hello Anna Maria Tremonte and Rudi Rudenheimer!
As you can tell we are in Croatia at the moment, along with Flamin' and Sarge. We are in Bern, from September 30th to October 5th. We have been invited to stay with Evelyn and Heinz but do hope we will be able to see you both. I heard from Nadienka, in Norway, and it looks like we will not be able to connect on this trip, unfortunately. Flamin' and Sarge are very downhearted that they cannot accompany us to Switzerland as they would dearly love to see all our large Swiss Famiglia! At any rate, they send there best wishes to you both.

Have been enjoying a most wonderful time ever since we landed in Vienna.

Up at about 6:45 am this morning to do my shouldares and then a quick bite of yogurt and a banana before we strolled back to the old city again to join a walking tour at 10:00 am. Anna was the tour leader and a very energetic, informative one so we really came away with quite a bit of Croatian and local history. To our gang I pointed out all the spots I could remember visiting with Chloë and Ragin' but I must admit I came awy with a much better sense of Split than when we visited in 2007. After a lunch of wrap take-aways we strolled towards the beach we had discovered the day before and The Gang opted for renting deck-chairs and an umbrella. I wasn't keen to do so, wanting to return to the appartamento to complete my shouldares. As well, it was baking hot and I felt I'd had enough sun already.

Waved goodbye and returned to the appartamento to complete all my exercises, listening to both BBC and then CBC to catch-up on the recent call to election. Sarge returned just as I was finished, the Ladies having gone to shop for dinner. They returned with a chicken and vegetables and Flamin' prepared the bird as well as vegetable dish of white beans, carrots, oniones and zucchini. Both were absolutely delish, once we figured out how to use the oven. I made a mixed green saladin and we enjoyed a Hungarian red, 2017 Fend, Cabernet Franc-Merlot, 14.5%. brought from Budapest, with the meal.

Loaded the dishwasher and by the time that was done everyone had gone to bed to read. I followed shortly as it had been a busy, busy, full day. Life is very, very difficult on the road, Dear Readers! Stay well. Fondestos from Lady Dar, Flamin' and Sarge to one and all. Cheers, Patrizzio! Bough their CD; Egyptian spoils; Patrizzio, with jaunty new hat, [purchased at market, earlier], about to be devoured by Games of Thrones' dragon!  Typical paving in old city.
