Towards Split, Toll Roads, Teddy Roosevalt and the Lacklustre Blues: Tuesday, September 10th!

If more politicians in this country were thinking about the next generation instead of the next election, it might be better for the United States and the world. -Claude Pepper, senator and representative (8 Sep 1900-1989)

Hi mom and dad, Sorry still no internet so i have no data when home. Its a wire issue with the developer and they said they will fix tomorrow so hopefully telus can come Thursday or Friday. It’s been frustrating, feel like I’m completely cut off.

Test came back negative, was way under and the are happy with my health. Baby is starting to really stretch and my whole stomach is moving and shuddering!! lol it’s pretty funny!!

Will stay at yours this Saturday and Sunday night as Judy has something going on. Looking forward to cuddles and seeing the fur sibs. Also seeing Judy P Sunday for brunch and to cut Bennies nails.

Talked to Grandma today to check in, her leg is looking better she said but Mar is not doing well on the new medicine. It’s making her really weak and sick so that’s disheartening.

Corey is bringing baby furniture this weekend and will set it up, house is really coming along. Just need to finish books in den and hang art, i may wait for you and the art. Love you both, have a meeting so have to go prep but it looks like your having a great time!! Just spoke to Rebecca she got the job she wanted so no more shift work as of October 15!!! Happy she will be happier at work, I don’t want them to leave!!

Just a thought, see if you can buy nesting dolls you know the wood ones that fit inside each other? In wood and cream or black colors so its more gender neutral 😬 if possible that would be pretty cute. Love love love you!!!

Hello Baby Girl, with Baby, and Dame Judith, Cat Minder and Wine Fridge Pilferer Extraordinaire, et al! Very, very pleased to hear that all goes well on the health front, Chloë, especially after your more than tiring move. Sorry to hear about your lack of connectivity but trust issue will be resolved at some point in the not too, too distant future! Glad you will allow Dame Judith a weekend furlough. Have you affixed Etta's new collar yet? With respect to Marlo, I tried to donate to the run but system would not accept either of my two credit cards so not sure what is/was wrong. Might have to wait until we return although your mother donated without difficulty. I tried her card but would not accept it either. On the suite front, have you had Colin over? You need to move on this project so Dame Judith, please light a fire!

We arrived in Split around 3:00 pm today and did a bit of scopeage near where we are staying, waiting until we could be let into apartamento. Quite a quiet, lovely part of Split and only about ten minutes from the sea where one can sun and swim. We enjoyed a drink and a plate of cheese/Prosciutto and olives at a nearbye restaurant before returning to apartment. Owner's mother, Anna, let us in. Few "deficiencies" but nothing we cannot live with so we are comfortably settled.

Took about 15 minutes to walk into the old part of the city last night and found a very pleasant restaurant for dinner. Walked almost half way home but Michele had a nasty headache so we took a cab rest of way. Very warm so we don't even have a sheet over us. However, I brought out a light blanket for your Nana as I knew she would need it once night cooled off. Very good weather for sleeping, nonetheless. Fondestos from Lady Dar/Nana to you both. Cheers, Dad/Patrizzio!

Pics:  Nomads leaving Rovinj and picturesque hill town with The Church of St. Euphemia, often known as the Basilica of St. Euphemia, although it is not formally a basilica minor, a Baroque church with a tower that is a replica of the Church of St. Mark in Venice on the Piazza San Marco. One of the beaches near restaurant close to our apartamento; dinner at Korta.

Not too LATE to register as a 2019 Vancouver Writers Fest Volunteer: WE NEED YOU, Kathryn! Hello Mama Chook Katarina! Thanks for persisting about wanting us as Volunteers for VWF. Unfortunately we won't be back in Penticton until October 12th and then too, too many things on our collective plates to help out this year. All the best, to you, my Most Beloved Duhlink Kathryn. Fondestos to you from Lady Dar. Hello to all the Gang Regulare at VWF. Buona Fortuna with Festivale! Stay well. Cheers, Patrizzio!
