Flatlanders Sing The White Lake Tick Season Blues: Wednesday, April 24th!

In the end, the poem is not a thing we see; it is, rather, a light by which we may see--and what we see is life. -Robert Penn Warren, novelist and poet (24 Apr 1905-1989)

Dear friends, with great sadness in my heart I am forwarding a message from Jim's daughter Heather which i received this morning. Al Hello to all. Please excuse the ham handed way that I am using to get this information to you. I do not have easy access to my mailing list as I am in Med Hat, Alberta right now and my master list in in Penticton.
I have received some exceedingly sad news which I feel I should pass along. Our friend, Jim Bryan, has passed away. I know little other than that which I got on Facebook, but I understand that Jim died yesterday. I am so saddened in sharing this news with you.
I have just had a call from Al and I think that he may share a bit more sometime today.
Meanwhile, please keep the Bryan family and your best memories of Jim close to your heart.

Dear Al, Thank you for your note and pictures, and for forwarding my previous message to the OF group. We received many wonderful messages and photos, which we shared with Dad over the last few days. He told us he felt "surrounded by a warm cloud" and wanted me to let each person know how much their thoughts and friendship mean to him. Dad passed away yesterday just after noon surrounded by family. He will be dearly missed and always remembered. Love, Heather, Rosemary, Anthea & Family

Thanks for the greeting. Happy Easter to you as well. I am in Edmonton at the moment as Mom had a very nasty fall, fractured hip and some hairline cracks in vertebrae. Still hanging in there but not sure how will all pan out as prognosis is not great. Will stay in touch. Love, Roma Hi Roma! Thanks for the Easter wishes but deeply upset to learn of your Mom's serious fall. Please pass along our heartfelt wishes to her. I know it must be a terribly difficult time for you and your brothers. Stay well. Fondestos from Lady Darjeeling to you, Roma, busying herself with wedding matters and then getting ready for the Flatlanders' walk near White Lake this morning. Again, our thoughts are with you and your Mom. Please say hello to her even if she can't remember us. Best wishes and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Wonderful to hear all about your Weekend. I am heading off to work at Noble Ridge and pouring for them on Friday and Saturday at Plaza liquor store. Here's praying you are recovered enough to be sling free! Hugs, Kelly thank you so much for this lovely easter Card and the wishes. all the best for you all and take care, with best regards Annamaria and Rudi

Hi Anna Maria Tremonte! Pleased you enjoyed the card. How was your holiday? For my part, I am very pleased to report that my right shoulder replacement, [surgery on March 12th], is doing very well, indeed. I see my specialist tomorrow and am hoping, after wearing a sling for six weeks, that I will be cleared for physio rehab, [Could you send Nadienka to mentor my progress!], to start and then back cycling, at some point, in the not too, too distant future after that. Stay well. Fondestos from Lady Darjeeling to you both, dear friends, off for a golf lesson which will include chipping onto green and then putting! She and Olga Polga have decided they want to join the pro tour. I can hardly wait until the prize money starts to roll in! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi All: Yes I will play on Monday night. However, a note of caution, I am a novice player....Theresa Hi Theresa! Wonderful that you can play. Do you wish to contact Dianne to carpool with us? You may consider yourself a novice player but you played like a more than accomplished, seasoned bidder! I'll be in touch again, probably on the weekend to confirm details of carpooling, etc. Thanks and Cheers, Patrizzio! Hi Theresa. I am picking up Susan and Patrick at 6:10 pm at Patrick's if you want to ride with us. I have room. Dianne Hi guys,
Thanks for the offer of carpooling, I will be at Susan’s at 6.00 pm. Thanks for the complement , Patrick. Theresa
