Morning Arm Exercises with Bowling Alley Blues: Saturday, March 16th!

There are books in which the footnotes or comments scrawled by some reader's hand in the margin are more interesting that the text. The world is one of these books. -George Santayana, philosopher (1863-1952)

Hi everyone, It's a lovely day in Cali so here is the patio Mom helped me get together and Pierre will do tri-tip today Olivia's growing fast and is quite the boobie monster Lol And here is Jax my new dog too Love to all Ayn
Hello Tinsel Town! Great grandmother really wants to sleep in a wine barrel in Portugal as she has been banished to the couch in the rock bistro, AKA rompas room! I have even had to turn down the volume on my radio as Lady Dar's ears are so sensitive!

Just finished my first round of exercises and enjoyed a fabulous omelette created by Lady Darjeeling! Unfortunately, no well done bacon as her carbon deficiency seems to be fine, at least for the moment. Chloë is to drop by shortly and your mother will drive her to collect Titanium Green being looked at by a friend of ours. Chloe told us that Maya will buy the car so I trust this purchase will not cause issues between them, should something go wrong with the vehicle. David is attending testing mail, [Festival of Ale], second week of April so I gather transfer will take place then.

Love the latest pictures of Olivia and Jax. Your patio looks lovely indeed. The gardener pointed out all her work as you might expect! Must away as I want to lie down and read a few chapters of Michael Connelly's latest so I'm back in LA in your Secret Garden. Love to everyone and Cheers Dad detail but PTL Patrick!

Greetings from the Sling Man to the Joshua Tree People! Trust you're both fine. Pleased to hear that your campaign did so well. Also thanks for the lovely picture of the wildflowers. When we stayed with Lynne and Peter, a number of years ago now, we took a wonderful trip to Joshua Tree. Happened to fall on Presidents' Day so we didn't have to pay an entry fee. Ever since I've wanted to return to try and cycle through some of the park. Guess it will have to wait until next year at the very earliest. We are toying with the idea of spending a number of months in LA. If so we might be able to arrange a return to this wonderful park.

We are off to a South Okanagan Whiskey Tasting Society event tomorrow, St. Patrick's Day celebration. Chloë will drop us off and collect us. I'm not able or allowed to drive for six weeks. See my specialist next Friday to see how incision and new joint are behaving. Monday we are hosting two tables of bridge. [Interesting to hear about your own bridge experience, swimming with the  Duplicate Sharks!] Tuesday we will see The Gods Must Be Crazy at a Lens on Lent series at Oasis United. Saw it way back when so it will be fun to see it again. On Wednesday, the Lighthalls are treating us to dinner at the Hooded organizer, [Merganser!], so quite a busy social life for a one armed bandit! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hello Warmer Temperatures Bidders! Trust everyone is in shorts and T-shirts! Given my recent surgery we'd like to host bridge on Monday evening. Could those of you who plan to play let me know so that I can plan accordingly. I'm hoping we'll be able to field at least seven players but will need to know beforehand in order to borrow Judy Blue's table. Thanks. Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, Cheers Petite Seo, also known as Patrick!I would love to play but only if my last little bit of snif and cough does not affect your healing process Patrick. Great to see you are ready to play. Who is holding your cards? Again, happy to hear recovery goes well. Jos

Glad everything is going well Pat, you & Corinne have a busy life!! We had another dump of snow on Thursday, as soon as it was over, around 4pm George was out with snow blower, because if you leave it you can’t move it because it is so heavy with moisture. The snow banks are getting really high, I can’t see the people walking on the road

Went to city yesterday for dental cleaning, kids were off school re in-servce day, the last week of March is school break, I think Mar & Ryan may take the kids to Brandon to a motel with pool & water slide, they can’t go to US because of Mar, Carly May bring Mar & the kids out for a nite some Time during that week, Ryan will have to work, he took a week to go to Florida Got a new I Pad, old one not holding a charge, had a credit at Best Buy so didn’t cost me very much. Take care, Clara

[Just back from the seeing the kids they send their love to all xoxo Hi Canceled Town Grandmother! [With climate change this is what LA will become!] Great pics indeed! Grandmother-hood certainly seems to be agreeing with you, Ayn, as you look lovely, beaming away at Olivia! Cheers, Dad Bethany seal by the CEO, also known as Patrick!]

Greetings from the Sling Man to the Cruel Swiss! Trust everyone is well, particularly Eveline, as we were sorry to learn of her appendicitis. I must apologize for not replying sooner to all three of you. No excuses but plenty of reasons. We both thank you for your lovely invitations and we do so hope that we are able to adjust our travel plans so that we have the opportunity to visit with everyone. More of that later when we have more concrete plans set in place. All the best to all the Cool Swiss, [Dictation software must've been programmed by someone from Bern!], and Cheers but the beat seal but the heat seal athletes seal, also known as Patrick/Patrizzio! Hi Patrick, Thanks for the update. Good to see you all fixed up. Don't think we knew the shoulder was so bad so glad that you are healing quickly and without pain. Peter & Lynne may be glad they are moving to Victoria so that their flights in and out are easier, but the weather is at least as much a factor there as in Penticton. We have been turned back a few times because of fog when we flew in to visit my parents from back east. They had a bad trip back from Europe not that long ago, and now this crazy ride back from California.

And thanks for the Trump article. Agree - it sums him up pretty well. I call him President Tiny Chump after the remarks from the prostitute he tried to pay off. The cartoonists will be sorry if he isn't re-elected, and unbelievable that they won't be the only ones disappointed if he isn't. Take care. Best to you, and Corinne as well. Jocelyn says "Ciao!" Jim Hi James! Sorry to take so long to reply to your last missive. Fondestos from Lady Darjeeling to you and Jocelyn. Stay well. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Greetings from the Sling Man to the Proud Grandparent! Trust everyone is well, especially Emry! Not sure if you are still in Toronto are not but hello to the Torontonians one way or another! All the best to to our favorite squam lights! Squamoids! Cheers, Patrizzio!
