Hi! Patrizzio .............. YES, hubby has been telling me that he is seeing you at the pool. Happy to hear that you are keeping up with your exercises for your new hip. I think you will be shovelling lots of fresh fallen snow Thursday. I know that I will be getting lots of exercise after my breakfast in the morning.

We went to the Vees vs. Trail game tonight and it sure was EXCITING!! Vees were trailing all thru the game and then they scored with 30 secs. left in the 3rd period to tie it up 3-3. We go into OT and Vees score 28 secs. into OT and win the game. What an amazing finish. The fans went nuts and I got a sore throat from yelling & cheering all night. Paul should be happy with the peace & quiet till my throat heals. Your cats sure keep you busy with all their fun antics. Thanks for the pics ............ they sure are cute to watch as they play & explore all day long. Hope all went well with your minor nose surgery yesterday. I'm sure that Corinne is giving you LOTS of TLC and you are being spoiled.

Looking forward to our dinner party on Friday night with friends to celebrate 3 birthdays (including hubby's). I will be busy Thurs & Friday prepping & getting the dinner ready so that I can go to Mah Jong on Friday. I will probably leave early to get home & start cooking since company will be arriving by 6:00 pm.

I took 2 sets of friends to airport today @ 2:00 pm for their 3:00 pm flight to Calgary and then it got cancelled. Wonder if they will be able to fly out tomorrow. See U soon!! Mary Lee :-)      Spent three hours shoveling/sweeping walks and street parking spots this morning, from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. Usually do some of the sidewalks and parking spots in front of our neighbours, on either side, so that is why it often takes a bit of time. Snow is light so not a big deal and I have Duke and Eta to help so loads of fun watching them leap through the drifts

Hi, Patrick! And Corinne, Ayn, Chloe and Clara! It seems you have been spending interesting and awesome time in Penticton! Can't wait to visit! It's very very soon😆 Today was very cold in Japan, snowy rain in Tokyo. Have to pack my luggages tomorrow...Haven't prepared anything yet. I will get knives for you! See you real soon!!! Love, Toshiko

Wonderful white, with a marked hint of green apple, at this evening's dinner/jazz night at Zia's restaurant in Summerland with hiking friends.

Last night we were off to have dinner and listen to a jazz, at Zia's, a lovely spot in Summerland, [http://www.ziasstonehouse.com/], about 15 minutes north, by car with friends from hiking group. Wonderful evening and we knew the singer, Yanti, [http://www.yanti.ca/], from other concerts and appearances we've been to since moving here. Great food and wine and loads of fun.

Hi Kids! Just a quick note to say thank you, to one and all, for such a fun-filled evening! Thanks, as well, it goes without saying, to Josinta and Aarturo for suggesting the evening in the first instance and to sizzling Yanti and her cool, cool group for such a wonderful evening of memorable song and exceptional music. Life in Summerland makes we lesser Pentictonites green, (eco-green, that is), with jealous envy! Life at the top, it would seem! Thanks for including us in your dream world. See everyone, in the not, too, too distant future, I trust. Until then, take care of each other. Fondestos from Lady Dar. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Jake! Trust you and Vittorina are well! I gather that Bill did not call you. He came over a little more than a week or so ago to leave Penticton Remembers Vol II with us. He was off for Hawaii next day, for a month I believe. At any rate, you can pop by if in town or else we can arrange a time I could drop it off.

I'll be sending out a message, shortly, about Book Club. Have you any suggestions for titles and meeting times? So far, looks like Thursday evening seems to work for most of those who have responded. Cheers, Patrizzio!
PD, Thank you for the Bill Fleet update. Please inform me when he returns , as we (B&I) must RV. I did try to raise him a month ago, to no avail... Re Book club-- a favorite of mine is.. Louis de Bernieres' Capt. Corelli's Mandolin...DBJS
