Hi Wonton Woman and Demon Rum Paolo! Thank you both for such a wonderful Open House. The food, the hootch, the company were all beyond compare. As well, Chloë wanted me to thank you for the the take-out soup! Trust you and Paolo will enjoy the rest of the Christmas Season and wishes for a Healthy New Year to you both, from Lady Dar, Chloë and Patrizzio! Cheers! Pics: Open House! Great photos Patrick capturing a fun evening! Cheers,Tim and Marian

Hi Patrizzio, Rita and I thoroughly enjoyed Three Billboards... long title... went Monday night. The film is a regular hoot in the style of Fargo, another vehicle for the acting ability of Francis McDormand. Reading on Vancouver today! Hi Rita, White Lightning Man and Memoir Man! I understood, from Gordon Pasha, [He dropped his memoir off this past Monday.], that you were off to Vancouver. Missed you both at the Open House. Loads of fab food, drink and great company.

Lady Dar and I took in Three Billboards Outside Ebbings, Missouri, a week ago this past Monday and found it one of the most powerful films of the year. Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell were simply superb. This Thursday, we enjoyed The Last Jedi, Chloë's treat, so she contributed to the $45 million, or even more, it has made so far! Again, we all thought it was a terrific hommage to the original Stars Wars Trilogy while passing the baton, (aka light sabre), to future rebels! All the best to you three, Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year, from Lady Dar, Chloë and I. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Yes, we missed that party... that's a first. Gordon said he had a ball there. We also missed the last market. Visited daughter Megan and her new baby. Last market I was at I dropped off a bit of shine for Moses. Maybe some bartering for fruit next year!

Hi again, Katarina! I went to the bank today to transfer the funds for both trips. Young woman I dealt with told me that the funds should be in your bank account by this coming Tuesday. Please confirm the transfer when you are in possession of the funds. Thanks.

My friend, Branko Perić, (Saint Branimir/Ragin' Bull), was born in Croatia, in Zagreb, and moved to Canada when he was four or five, in the early '50's. I met him playing squash, back in the late '80's and we have been friends ever since. Chloë and I travelled with him, for about three weeks, in 2007, when all three of us were in Croatia together. He was visiting relatives at the time and we had been in Greece so we arranged to meet. Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year to you, Katarina. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Just a short reply as getting ready to drive south for a week. We're hoping to send our multi-send Xmas letter out before we leave on Sunday. Thanks for your greetings and lots of best wishes to you, Corinne and family. You mentioned that you may be in this area in Feb. We'd love to see you and no problem staying here for a few days though you have to forgive me if I don't cater much as you know. You can have full use of the kitchen!!

Timewise it depends on when you'd be here. Phil probably will be here most of time though I am planning a backpack in Grande canyon in Feb, a 3 day climbing trip to Phoenix and we leave Feb 20th to come back to Canada. Otherwise we're here and hope we can work something out for you to visit. anyway must say bye now as busy doing things hugs from Gill Hi Gill, Look forward to seeing you both in Feb. We were at Mary Lee and Paul's tonight for their drop-in Christmas Party. Crowded but fun. Snow coming tomorrow but today bright and sunny. Will be off to do some shopping for dinner guests tomorrow. Don't worry about catering to us we can look after ourselves. Enjoy your time down South. Happy Holidays

Hello Sedona Folk! From your last message, you both seem well. Pleased to hear it. How far south are you going? We will be back from Costa Rica on February 4th and plan to stay in Palm Desert for two nights before driving to Sun City for another two or three nights. This should put us in Sedona on Saturday, February 10th for a couple of nights, perhaps leaving on Shrove Tuesday, February 13th, to give you a week before you have to head back to Spiller. [You will notice, from hike picnic snapolas, that I met Margaret and David. Lovely couple. I think it was Elvia who mentioned, at our Open House, that they were renting your place.] Anyway, we are pretty flexible and as Lady Dar said, we can look after ourselves since you operate a non-catering joint! Look forward to playing some bridge over the course of the visit. [Judy Blue and Michelle Dunn are coming for dinner tomorrow evening but Michelle doesn't play, unfortunately!] Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year, from Lady Dar, Chloë and I. Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Open House! Spiller Road log spillway! [I obtain much of my firewood from Robson's lot as they don't burn very much, not being here for most of the winter.]

Sounds good and I can try arranging the backpack or the climbing trip after you leave and before we drive back. We'll just keep in touch and make it work so we can see you here in Sedona. bye for now Gill Xmas wishes from Gill and Phil We're late sending our letter this year but many happy wishes to you and all the best for 2018. Sorry I have no time to send individual greetings as we are leaving tomorrow for a week trip further down south. Take care Gill and Phil

Hi Wow that was a great letter, I will respond later. I am busy making cookies.
I am so glad you are fine, LOL. I want to visit in late Feb!!!  Merry Christmas! Rhoda
Hi again, CookieSki! When you say "late February" what dates do you have in mind? We are still toying with going as far east as Santa Fe and San Antonio but those plans are not firm so depending on your schedule we'd probably return to accommodate a visit as we'd love to see you. Anyway, let me know and we'll plan accordingly. Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year to you, Ski and The Great Ronaldo! Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Cycling trips.

OMG-that would be so cool to go to the Czech republic -lol I would really have to do some good negotiating with Ron I can try to visit the last week of Feb -would you be back? Or Visit after Hawaii March 16th ish What do u think?
Hi Ski! Lady Dar and I both think a visit in mid-March would be far preferable, inasmuch as we are sure to be here and weather will probably be better for cycling, wine-tasting, etc. Since we haven't confirmed our plans for Santa Fe/San Antonio, it might be tight to see you if we do go there and then need to be back by last week of February. You can say here for a month and then we'll fly to Moravia for bike trip, mid-April. The Great Ronaldo would think, without question, that that would be the right thing to do! He could even come along and mule our luggage! Cheers, Patrizzio!
