Let It Snow With a Vengeance Blues: Tuesday, December 19th!

"Business!" cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. "Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!" -Charles Dickens, novelist (1812-1870) [in "A Christmas Carol", published on this date in 1843]

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from Painted Rock!
Hi Patrizzio, At least I will be around late afternoon Wed for you. Phone the house. I don’t have a cell but you can call Denise. Have a safe journey. Bill.
Hi Wild Bill!
Thanks for your phone numbers. Starting to snow heavily here. Chloë just phoned from the outskirts of Penticton to say that the 97 was closed due to an accident near Summerland. Wonder if it occurred on the steep hill, out of town, slippery conditions and all. She was to drive to Kelowna for a meeting. Not really looking forward to our drive into Vancouver tomorrow as more heavy snow if forecast for all the highways. Fraser Valley is supposed to be a mess as well. Just have to leave early and drive slowly.

We'll give you a call, at some point, when in town, and will drop over once we've visited with Ted and family. Just heard that Burrard Bridge is closed due to a fatal accident! Speed, I assume! Not to negate loss of life and injury, what a mess city traffic will be. Time for you to move to cabin at Deep Roots! Hope to see you and Denise tomorrow. Must away as I need to shovel the walk! Cheers, Patrizzio! Hi Patrick, I had an easy drive down yesterday. Today is ugly, snowing here in downtown. Hope it lets up for you tomorrow.  Drive carefully. Peter Hi Jugos! You beat the snow as it is starting to come down heavily here! Cheers, Patrizzio! Patrick, Just take it easy! We had 5cm of the very wet white stuff, even in low elevation Kits. Up at west Pt Grey considerably more. Temp slightly above freezing but really mild air is not imminent. Will wait for your call in the afternoon. Good luck with the driving! Bill. Drive carefully, Pat. Heavy snow here as well but probably melting soon. Ray

Hi Ski! You could ski the KVR right now as it is starting to come down heavily here! Hi Be careful driving! Weather here is like a rainy Vancouver winter day! Snow is coming! Hi You don’t forget my little mishaps do you? Yes I will pay close attention -thanks for the reminder. I hope the roads aren’t too bad!😘 Ski Alias “Rhoda”  Hi Ski and The Great Ronaldo! Trust you are both well. Not sure if I mentioned it in an earlier message but will spend Christmas with Chloë, leaving her the day after Boxing Day, to be our house/cat sitter, driving to Tinsel Town for New Year's with Ayn and Los Horridos, our grandsons. Will attended the youngest's/Alex's graduation from the LAFD on January 4th and then flew to Costa Rica on January 7th. Will return to Tinsel Town on February 4th to spend a couple of weeks visiting friends in Palm Desert, Sun City and Sedona, and then a week or so back in LA before heading north towards the end of February. Fondestos from Lady Dar, to you, Ski and The Great Ronaldo. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Warmer Climes People! Thanks for your Arizona coordinates and Christmas letter! Your new place in Ignace sounds divine. Will have to visit you there too! Looking forward to a Greek Salad, in Sun City, already, as it is starting to snow heavily here, taking after Ignace! Very heavy rain in Vancouver over last few days and just heard that Burrard Bridge is closed. What more of a mess city traffic will be as it is terrible at the best of times now! Must away as I need to shovel the walk! Cheers, Patrizzio! Travel safely and keep in touch!

I meant is your incision on the side of your leg, on the top or behind? Mine is a straight line down the side. He cut through the muscles to get to the hip bone. Of course then had to reattach to the new one. He said 6 weeks with a walker. I still have a problem because my pelvis is off. Thx for heads up about route. Frank saw Coq is meant to be bad, hopefully better Wed but could try TransCanada. Frank will do his homework & decide. We have new tires & only going to Kamloops the first night.
