We made our borscht yesterday and the potato/cheese filling for the pirogies to be, both resting nicely in our cool garage. Challenge will be dough and "pinching" it closed! Will have Lynne and Peter for dinner on Christmas Eve so trust our efforts at replicating my Grandmother's/Mother's flawless creations will be a culinary success in their own right. Hi from down under. A quick note to wish you both a happy Christmas and festive season in general. We have been all little busy leading up to Christmas hence this rather pathetic note. We have now taken possession of our little holiday unit at the coast as lunch would have it just before the holidays so no workers to do the fix ups. Though there is all of next year. I have tried to use Face book but I am afraid I am not very consistent in checking this style of communication nor I might add very adept at the technology perhaps this is a new year resolution I should explore.

Any how it’s a lazy 38 degrees Celsius here at the moment so no snow for Christmas we are instead off to the beach for Christmas day tomorrow and more over eating I suspect. We have for the first time in a while our whole family together both daughters a grandchild and son in law quite a treat really.
