Orbital Sander and the Wood Plane Blues: Monday, September 10th!

There is no greatness where there is not simplicity, goodness, and truth. -Leo Tolstoy, novelist and philosopher (9 Sep 1828-1910)

Hello bridge friends and kitchen specialists, Just got home and wondering if there are any bridge planned this week. I can host if needed. Jos Tonight would be the best for me. After I come back from Greece we have to decide which fixed night would work for all. Jos Hi all, I’m back and ready to play any night of the week will work for me. Hugs Olly I am unable to play this week. My football playing son and his girlfriend are visiting for the week Regarding a regular night...Thursday evening works best for me๐Ÿ‘ Have a great week all๐Ÿ˜Ž Pam Summer is almost over, but strangely we are all quite busy with other staff, and unable to play bridge. This week is not good for me, so happy bidding. Cheers
Mike I could play Thursday night only this week if you need me. There will always be more times and will look forward to whenever it may be. Cheers, Carol. Monday no good for us but we could probably do Tuesday. However that would be an awkward number I think so have fun Monday if that's the best. Gill and Phil I will bow out this week too. So the 4 of you can play.

Thanks for the invitation Patrick and Corrine ...your kitchen renos look great
Would love to stop in for a bit on Saturday As for playing bridge...I'm afraid I have never learned to play the game But maybe someday Really enjoyed the Jazz festival to the very end of the closing ceremonies Most definitely got my money's worth...Bria's set was fabulous...I really enjoyed that venue Maybe see you on Thursday the 13th for Farewell Hike to Gurt Cheerio...A la prochaine. Elle, music still playing in my head๐Ÿ˜‚
Thx for pics at jazz fest! I think we look great! Judy

Hi Olga Polga and Josinta! Thanks for hosting Josinta! Lady Dar and I will be knocking on your door at 6:30 pm this evening. Will be in touch with rest of gang about which week night might work best. At this time, seems Thursday is the choice for most. At any rate, we'll see what transpires. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Regrets. I, too, not available this week. Susan In future any day really okay. Gill

I keep missing all these great get-togethers. Hello Hello You two. Just got back from my Hiking trip in the Rockies……….it was awesome. What’s the date of our Book Club this month. Finished it in time …….Hurrah. Can’t wait to see your renos. Love & Hugs to All…………Hildegard von Bingen ๐Ÿ˜Š Hello Bibliophiles! Welcome back, Von Bingen, hiker in the high Rockies! We will be discussing Matt Haig's The Humans next week at our place. If you plan on coming to our End-of-Summer Bash, this coming Saturday, bring your toothbrush and you can stay until Book Club! Look forward to seeing everyone at both gatherings. Cheers, Patrizzio! PS: Everyone, please welcome Louise, a new recruit, conscripted by Lady Dar! What can I bring? Dame Judith

Hello Naramatians, et al! Thanks so much to you both for the more than wonderful evening and meal. What a life! Also, thanks for the garlic cloves, Jugos Dom Pedro. Certainly much appreciated! Enjoyed a very pleasant , if brief visit, with The Vancouver Freeloaders after they left Naramatia with all the household silverware and towels stashed with their bike gear! Look forward to seeing you on Saturday, Noble Naramatians, and we can compare losses. Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Post-java! Sorry, Kids, forgot to attach snapolas!
Hello Four-No-Trump People! Thanks so much to Josinta for hosting this evening. Fab nibblage! Loads of fun even if only one table. It seems as if Thursday might well work for a regular evening BUT next week Lady Dar and I cannot play that evening. If most convenient for group, go ahead and play that night, otherwise let me know your preferences/availability and we'll plan accordingly. Thanks and Cheers, Patrizzio! Too bad because Wednesdays and Thursdays are not good for me. But I am not that regular as others anyway, therefore I might have to take any opening opportunity as it would come because I love to join the group, even occasionally. So, keep me posted please.  Cheers. Mike Hello Patrick, Well, yes, it is depressing, but the guy is in very good spirit. You probably have seen him on some early hikes with the Old Farts, and he knows Al Tinka very well. Al went through the same ordeal, and is quite OK now, so there is a hope.
And sure, thanks very much for the invite to celebrate the ground opening of the fantastic kitchen. Mariola and I will drop in for sure.
See you there. Cheers
Mike
