Lady Dar SIngs The Soupateria Blues: Monday, November 20th!

If you want a symbolic gesture, don't burn the flag, wash it. -Norman Thomas, socialist and social reformer (20 Nov 1884-1968)

Hello Book Enthusiasts! Trust everyone is well and enjoying The Sellout. Looking forward to the discussion on December 4th at The Rutherford Redoubt, on Gammon, for dinner as well as hot debate! On another matter, Lady Dar and I would like to invite you, and significant others, as the case might be, to our 3rd Annual Open House, on Saturday, December 9th, anytime after 4:00 pm. Until we meet again, Cheers, Patrizzio! Good Morning Patrizzio: I would love to come to your 3rd Annual Open House. Can I bring anything along. Also I will see you December 4th……….I’ll meet you at the Burns Street Location and hitch a ride to Lou’s Place. Have a wonderful Monday…….from Hildegard Von Bingen 😊😊😊 Hi Von Bingen! Lovely to hear from you and delighted that you will attend our Open House. [Not quite sure at this point but Ragin' Bull is probably going to drive up from Vancouver for the bash. You might remember meeting him, last year, when you popped by before you had to go back to Oliver.] Most generous of you, of course, to offer to bring something but just your charming presence and happy, infectious smile will be more than enough. Cheers, 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Patrick, I am unable to play Bridge tonight. Have fun! Pamela Unfortunately Patrick I cannot play tonight. Have fun. B Hi Barbarella, Naramata Goil, Judy Blue, Lady Dar, et al! Unfortunately, Upper Bench and Naramata cannot play this evening so looks like we won't be able to stitch together a game this week. Busy time of year. However, perhaps something can be arranged for the following week. Let me know your thoughts, preferences and Swiss Bank account number and I'll plan accordingly! Cheers, Patrizzio!πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‰πŸ‘. It is a busy time of year

No worries seems like a good day to cocoon 😊 Judy Hi Cocoon Woman! You said it! Not too, too damp for local California Quail as about twenty of them just made their way past our front garden! Lucky for them that both Etta and Duke are sleeping, curled up and cosy. Cheers, Patrizzio! Patrick, Thank you very much for organizing our Bridge games. The evenings this week and next are already full. However I can play next Tuesday or Thursday afternoon😊 Pam Hi Pam! Thanks for thanks but I'm more than happy to try to organize bridge gatherings. Given busy time of year, I'll see if we can manage to have a game on one of the afternoons you are free. Will wait and see until I have heard back from rest of gang. Had a message from Michaelo and he is still on safari! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hope you have a wonderful evening. Looking forward to the next event. If possible please not a Monday, but I understand if you can't accommodate me. If anyone is interested in attending the Musaic Christmas Concert, I have tickets. It is going to be a fantastic one, under our new director. Friday, December 8th 7:30 St. Saviour's church. $15 I will pick some up tonight so just let me know.
See you at the open house as well Judi
Hi Dame Judith! We missed you at Choral Extravaganza 2017 yesterday! I agree, your new musical director, Frances Chaisson, seems very, very impressive. When Lady Dar is back from Soupateria I'll ask her about Musaic tickets. Glad you and Kevinator can make Open House. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Interesting...https://news.ok.ubc.ca/2017/10/24/ubc-researchers-create-definitive-method-to-detect-wildfire-tainted-wine-grapes Hello Sunshine Coast! All of us here, at Burns Street, carry around a smoke-detector kit when we go winetasting. VQA hands them out as soon as you have a street address in Penticton! Must away as I've much to do on chore list, as long as Hope-Princeton, left by Lady Dar, volunteering at Soupateria this morning! Fondestos from Lady Dar, volunteering at Soupateria, feeding the homeless and others without means, this morning!  Cheers, Patrizzio! Pic: Hope you can make Open House!

Sorry... I made a mistake and sent out the Christmas card today instead of next month! The joke is on me for trying to think ahead! Brenda Hello Jump-the-Gun Goil! When I first received the card I thought, Wow, is Brenda Louise ever organized! You shouldn't have admitted your mistake. Would have broken everyone else's resolve to finally be on time for sending out cards, either real or virtual! However, I must say that I enjoyed the lovely, picturesque, nostalgic setting. Der Bingle's White Christmas brought back wonderful memories from first Christmases in Canada, in Winnipeg, where it really was a white Christmas, as my folks would always play an album of his carols. Are you wrapping presents yet, now that all your cards have been sent! Warm regards to any elves you see! Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hello friends and friends of my friends, Attached is an itinerary of the Moravia bicycling trip 2018 with detailed information about the trip. We will start bicycling from Brno, coming back to the same hotel. It is possible to leave your luggage in a hotel´s luggage room during the trip. The best airports to fly to are Vienna (150 km) and Prague (230 km). Good touring bicycles can be rent in Brno for around 150 EUR. There are two dates available:1. May 13 - May 26, 2018 2. July 2 - July 15, 2018 Size of group for the trip is 6 - 8 people. If you have any questions, I am ready to answer them. Have a nice day! Katarina
Hi Katarina! Lovely to hear from you. Please sign me up for the first Moravia bicycling trip, May 13 - May 26, 2018. Any more word on the Poland excursion? Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hello Penny Farthing Lads! Anyone interested i tours mentioned above. Patrizzio The Younger, what are your thoughts? Will you and JΓΈ be in Olso all summer? I'll certainly be in touch once bike trips have been finalized. Let me know your thoughts and I'll plan accordingly. Furthermore, please consider coming to our Open House!!! Cheers, Patrizzio! Bone journo Patrizio. I would be up for something like that but unfortunatisimo I am (we are) otherwise engaged during the proposed times. I hope you have a great trip! -Ross Hi Dog Bone Boy! I assume you will be attending night school classes, studying Italian 101, when I'm cycling through the vineyards of Moravia! Too, too bad that I won't be able to enjoy your scintillating, nevertheless difficult, trying personality, but ma io capisco! On another matter, I have been meaning to send along these snapolas for aeons. Fondestos from Lady Dar to you and Juliette of the Spirits. Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Elizabeth and Bruno; Champagne, aka Baby Duck! Birthday Boy!!! Hip Hip Hooray!

Hello Anna Maria Tremonte and Rudi Rudenheimer! Trust you are both well. Well, you will probably see me in 2018! A week ago today it
was pretty wet so I took a rest from cycling and one of the things I did was book my flight to Europe, ($946.73, AC), from Vancouver to Paris on April 16th, returning from Paris on July 10th, just in time for Folk Fest, at Jericho Park, in Vancouver! Unfortunately, Marriage Officiant must remain home during wedding season but we are hoping to return in September, perhaps with Flamin' and Sarge, so please leave your house key under the welcome mat at front door!!! Hope you, Anna Maria Tremonte, Rudi Rudenheimer and Nadienka can come to our Open House! Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hello Squamish Waldorfians! Trust you are both well. Tell Ricardo that we are going ahead with purchase of fractional condo at Spirit Ridge. Lady Dar is kicking in half as she didn't want me calling all the shots! Please thank Ricardo for his sage advice and as he suggested, we are using a lawyer in Kamloops familiar with sales on indigenous property. Gather sale will take place shortly before the end of November. You people sound as busy as we seem to be. Thanks you for the invitation to visit but looks like we won't be back in Vancouver for some time now. We will spend Christmas with ChloΓ« and then drive down to Tinsel Town to spend New Year's with Ayn and Los Horridos. Alejandro is to graduate from the LAFD Academy on January 6th, all going well and we'd like to attend the service, of course. Next day we will fly to Costa Rica for a month. Looking forward to exploring new territory. Hope you, Little White and Scrooge The Grumpster can come to our Open House! Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Patrick, Thanks for getting back to me. Were just trying to figure out when we will have an install crew in your area. I will be in touch with you in the days to come. When my install team comes they can confirm measurements, Take care, talk soon

Paa-trish-ee-OOO tanks for the invitation. Ohh , alas I will not be in the country. Cool Yule and Happy festive solstice season. Is a synder something like a cinder?? DBJS
Hi SynderFella! Sorry to hear you and my favourite, Vittoria, will be up, up and away. Didn't realize you left for sunnier climes as early. Anyway, we'll miss you both. Travel safely and take care of each other. Fondestos from Lady Dar to you both. Cheers, Patrizzio!

PS: As I understand it, a synder is an even denser, paleolithically older version of a cinder, taking on its anthracitic characteristics directly from the pitch-dark, unfeeling heart of the individual in question. I trust, and sincerely so, that this has nothing to do with you, Jacob-Two-Two-and-the Hooded Fang!
Hi Old Farts,I have a problem! Something has come up which will prevent me from going out on Thursday. So, I would appreciate it if someone would come forward to be the fearless leader. The plan is to snowshoe in the vicinity of the Snowflake and the Three Bears. It will involve: -meeting at Penticton Home hardware north parking lot at 0900 (0840 at IGA parking lot in Summerland). -carpooling and driving to the Snowflake parking lot between Apex and Nickel Plate. -enjoying a few hours of snowshoeing. -returning to Penticton. -ending with debriefing and refreshments. I am positive enough to assume that someone is willing to step in for me. So, please plan that it is a “go”. If someone does come forward, I will let you know. And again, a reminder of the following events…..Thursday, December 14th: Old farts Picnic at Cartwright Mountain. Details soon Thursday, December 21st: Winter Solstice Snowshoe up Green Mountain by headlamp Cheers, Jim
